Integrated Ticketing
On 23 January 2008, the NSW Government announced the decision to terminate the Tcard contract.
The Government remains committed to delivering an integrated ticketing system, recognising cashless ticketing for Sydney's public transport network is an important initiative.
An expert group across Government has been established to begin scoping out the next steps for a new system. It will report back to Government in mid-2008.
