There are several ways to find out timetable and route information for buses, trains and ferries in New South Wales.

For quick and convenient access to timetables, trip planning, and route information on all train, bus and ferry services in the greater Sydney region including Newcastle, the Central Coast, Bathurst, Goulburn and the Illawarra, visit the Transport Infoline at www.131500.info or phone 131 500 24 hours a day.

A TTY (Teletypewriter service) 1800 637 500 is also available for hearing and speech impaired customers at Transport Infoline. This service is available 6am to 10pm, 7 days a week.

Ask for a timetable booklet

  • CityRail timetable booklets are available for all lines from any CityRail station ticket office
  • Sydney Buses and Sydney Ferries timetables are available from Sydney Bus Information Offices, local newsagents or by phoning 131 500
  • Private bus company timetables are available from the driver or by phoning the company
  • Private ferry company timetables are available by phoning the company
