Region 12 Bus Network Review
A new bus network for the Ku-ring-gai region
The Ministry of Transport and TransdevTSL are pleased to announce that following community consultation, a new bus services network will be introduced in bus contract region 12 on 23 March 2009, with stage two introduced in August 2009. This bus region covers parts of the Hornsby, Ku-ring-gai, Ryde and Willoughby local government areas.
As part of the NSW Government's bus reform, TransdevTSL has a contractual arrangement to provide bus services in this region. Working closely with the Ministry of Transport, TransdevTSL has developed a new bus network that will provide fast, frequent and direct services to major centres such as Chatswood while maintaining links to employment, educational and recreational facilities.
After extensive community consultation and consideration of all feedback, stage one of region 11 will be implemented on 23 March 2009.
The implementation will be supported by new timetables and advertisements in local papers.
For timetable information and a detailed map, please visit www.131500.com.au or call 131 500.

Network performance and passenger feedback will be closely monitored for the first six months of operation. An annual service review is then carried out each year, which includes a regional planning forum. The forum gives stakeholders and the community an opportunity to provide ongoing feedback on the integrated network.
