Sydney Bus Contract Regions

The Government's Bus Reform program has consolidated 87 small contract areas into larger contract regions to help support the implementation of new, integrated service networks. These include 43 Strategic Bus Corridors that link key regional centres.

As a transition measure, there are 15 new contract regions for the first 7 year term of the new contracts.

From 2012, it is anticipated that there will be further consolidation of the Regions to 8.
