Applying for motorcycle tour operator accreditation

Under the Passenger Transport Act 1990 (the Act), all operators of public passenger services must be accredited by Transport for NSW to be able to provide services legally in NSW.

Minimum vehicle and equipment standards and driver (rider) standards also apply.

It is also a requirement of the Act that an accredited operator must comply with the conditions of accreditation, standards and guidelines as prescribed by Regulation or by the Director General of Transport for NSW in order to remain accredited.

Accreditation conditions may be varied from time to time and accredited operators must comply with any new accreditation conditions, whether prescribed by Regulation or by the Director General of Transport for NSW.
