Buses and coach services in NSW

Transport for NSW is responsible for the contracting and regulation of passenger bus services in NSW. Since October 2005, metropolitan bus operators have operated under new service contracts which provide consistent fares, concessions and service standards for customer on both public and private bus services. Contract negotiations are now underway with outer metropolitan bus services, and will be followed by discussions with rural and regional operators.
