The Transport Management Centre provides enhanced traffic information, giving Transport for NSW customers up-to-the minute news of incidents and conditions that affect a journey. The aim is to help motorists make the best possible travel decisions that will, in turn, contribute to the safe and efficient management of NSW roads.

The Live Traffic NSW website has a number of features to make it easier to avoid traffic incidents and to plan trips, including live traffic information, a trip planner, and live traffic cameras.

132 701 Traffic Information Line
Operating 24-hours a day, this telephone service generates text-to-speech information on traffic incidents such as vehicle accidents, road closures, major roadworks and special events. There is also an option to talk to an operator.
131 700 Incident Reporting Line
Every year, almost 200,000 people call this dedicated line to report traffic incidents. These reports are valuable to the Transport Management Centre. Approximately 20 per cent of incident alerts on the Traffic Information line originate from public reports.
