Local and community transport programs
Transport for NSW has direct day-to-day administrative responsibility for two community transport programs:
More than $50.3 million in recurrent funding for 2011-2012 has been allocated to over 120 community transport service providers under the two programs.
Transport for NSW has a Transport Coordination Program to address the needs of people facing transport disadvantage.
The Country Passenger Transport Infrastructure Grants Scheme (CPTIGS) provides support funding to improve the amenity of passenger transport infrastructure in rural, regional and remote communities of NSW.
