Your rights
As a hire car user you have the right to:
- Decide on the route
- An agreed level of service.
Your driver should:
- Be courteous and helpful
- Know and obey all the traffic laws
- Be neat, clean and tidy
- Not eat, drink or smoke in the hire car
- Not use foul language or act in an offensive way.
Your hire car should be:
- Smoke free
- Clean and tidy
- Well maintained.
Your responsibilities
As a hire car user you must:
- Pay the agreed cost, including any tolls and booking fees that apply
- Wear a seat belt at all times
- Not eat, drink or smoke in the hire car
- Not use foul language or act in an offensive way
- Not ask the driver to stop where it is illegal or unsafe to do so.
