Note: Apprentices or trainees classified by the DET as being on Existing Worker Traineeships are not eligible for concessions.

See Recent Changes in NSW Public Transport Concessions.
Concession fares
- Half fare concessions on government and private bus and government ferry services, and between home, workplace and college/place of study on CityRail services. The entitlement is not available on long distance rail services.
Concession fares under MyZone from 18 April 2010
-
Under the NSW Government's new MyZone fare structure, which operates in the greater Sydney area, concession entitlements remain the same or similar to previous arrangements, although some ticket products or prices may have changed. From 1 July 2011, the My Multi tickets, the Pensioner Excursion Ticket and Family Funday Sunday have been available for use on light rail. These tickets are not sold on light rail and must be purchased before boarding. See the Buying Tickets page
. Entitlements and ticket products will remain the same on services not covered by the MyZone structure, such as private ferries, monorail and CountryLink services. -
Half fare concessions are available for apprentices and trainees on all MyZone ticket products (except monthly, quarterly and yearly MyMulti products, and the off peak return ticket on rail). For more information, see MyZone
.
