Travel concessions for infants (0-3 years inclusive)
Eligibility
- All infants from birth to 3 years of age (inclusive).
Concession fares
- Free travel on rail, regular timetabled bus services and most ferry services.
- Once a child is over 3 years of age, a child fare is required. See Children and young people (aged 4 to 15 years inclusive).
Entitlements
- Free concession rates are available for the following:

General - Concession entitlements are not available on special or premium services, charter services, special event services or tourism services.

The fast ferry services operating between Manly and Circular Quay, light rail and Monorail services are privately owned and operated services. Any concession benefits or discounted tickets are provided by the operators of these services at their discretion. Check with the operator before travelling. From 1 July 2011, the MyMulti tickets, the Pensioner Excursion Ticket and Family Funday Sunday tickets have been available for use on light rail but must be purchased before boarding. . - Most contracted private ferry services recognise the standard concession entitlements but may have different arrangements, based on their existing contractual obligations. Check with the operator before travelling.
