Rights and Responsibilities of Hire Car Users
Hire cars in NSW are regulated by the Ministry in a non-restrictive way that encourages competition among operators. There are many types of vehicles available to users and you should look up an operator that meets your requirements in your local telephone directory.
The cost incurred for the use of a hire car can vary significantly from company to company, and will depend on the type of hiring requested, the time that you will need the service and the type of vehicle used. Generally the fee is negotiated and agreed to, prior to the hiring.
