Local and Community Transport Programs

NSW Transport and Infrastructure has direct day-to-day administrative responsibility for two community transport programs:

More than $36.5 million in recurrent funding for 2008-2009 has been allocated to 134 community transport service providers under the two programs.

NSW Transport and Infrastructure has a Transport Coordination Program to address the needs of people facing transport disadvantage.

The Country Passenger Transport Infrastructure Grants Scheme (CPTIGS) provides support funding to improve the amenity of passenger transport infrastructure in rural, regional and remote communities of NSW.
