Changed traffic conditions on Hume Highway at Chullora

Published

The community is advised of changed traffic conditions from this week for maintenance work on the Hume Highway at Chullora.

The work includes replacing asphalt, repainting road markings and reinstating the traffic loop detectors on eastbound lanes between Rookwood Road and Davidson Street, and westbound lanes between Robinson Street and Rawson Road.

Work will be completed over 29 shifts from 8pm to 5am between Thursday 1 February and Thursday 28 March, weather permitting, with no work taking place on Saturdays.

During the work there will be lane closures, a contraflow and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h for the safety of workers and road users.

Motorists unable to access properties or side streets within the contraflow should use the next available side street after exiting the contraflow so they can be redirected to their destination.

Transport for NSW thanks the community for their patience during this time.
