Changed traffic conditions on Racecourse Road, Clarendon

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions this weekend at the Clarendon Station level crossing on Racecourse Road for construction work to be carried at the level crossing to improve safety.

A temporary full road closure of the level crossing between Hawkesbury Valley Way and Racecourse Road will occur between 4am Saturday 27 April and 6pm Sunday 28 April 2024.  

Access to Racecourse Road will remain open via Blacktown Road. Detours will be in place via Bourke Street, Richmond, and George Street/Macquarie Street, South Windsor. Please allow extra travel time to access Racecourse Road and Rickaby Street.

Signage and speed reductions will be in place to assist motorists. Pedestrian access at the level crossing will be maintained.

Road users are advised to observe roadside signage for up-to-date information regarding the latest closure information, drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
