Changed traffic conditions on Victoria Road at Parramatta

The community is advised of overnight safety work on Victoria Road, between Pemberton Street and Pennant Street, at Parramatta.

Work will be completed over six months through to June 2024, weather permitting.

Until Friday 22 December 2023, and between Wednesday 3 and Monday 8 January 2024, work will be carried out from 8pm until 5am the next day.

Between Monday 8 January and Wednesday 17 January 2024,work will be carried out during the day from 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, and 8am to 1pm, Saturday. Night work will be carried out from 6pm to 7am, Monday to Friday.

After Wednesday 17 January 2024 work will be carried out during the night only, from 8pm to 5am the next day, between Sunday and Thursday, for up to five nights per week.

There will be temporary traffic changes to make sure the work zone is safe. Lane closures, contraflow and a 40 km/h speed limit will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.

Temporary lane closures to the lanes adjacent to the Victoria Road central median will be in place between Monday 8 and Wednesday 17 January 2024.
