Safety and congestion improvements planned for Reservoir Road

Published

Transport for NSW is giving the community an opportunity to have their say on a proposal which will boost pedestrian safety and reduce traffic congestion on Reservoir Road at Blacktown.

The proposal includes plans to improve the existing pedestrian crossing on the road between Matthew Crescent and Theresa Street.
A full-time No Stopping zone extending 95 metres on the northbound lane between Matthew Crescent and Cooper Street would also be introduced.

Under the proposal, approximately 15 parking spaces on the northbound lane would be removed to make this possible.

All community feedback will be carefully considered before a decision is made.
Transport for NSW will share with the community what it has learnt from the consultation period while continuing to provide updates as the project progresses.
Have your say by calling 1800 684 490 or emailing reservoirroad@transport.nsw.gov.au by Wednesday 28 February.
