Bus Region 15 - A New Bus Network for the Campbelltown and Macarthur Region
The Ministry of Transport and Busways are pleased to announce that following community consultation, a new bus services network will be introduced in Bus Contract Region 15 on 18 August 2008. This bus region covers all or part of the local government areas of Camden, Campbelltown and Wollondilly.
As part of the NSW Government's bus reform, Busways has a contractual arrangement to provide bus services in this region. Working closely with the Ministry of Transport, Busways has developed a new bus network that will provide fast, frequent and direct services to major centres such as Campbelltown and Macarthur while maintaining links to employment, educational and recreational facilities.
After extensive community consultation and consideration of all feedback, Region 15 will be implemented on 18 August 2008.
The implementation will be supported by new timetables, advertisements in local papers, bus network guides. Transport access guides for Campbelltown and Macarthur Station will be distributed.
