Route 55 - FREE Gong Shuttle

A free Gong Shuttle bus service is now operating seven days a week around Wollongong city.
It's a high frequency service running every 10 minutes from Wollongong Station to Wollongong University travelling in both directions via Princes Highway and Cliff Road.
The Gong Shuttle travels up to Eliotts Road via the Innovation Campus and round the Princes Highway passing Wollongong University before heading back to Wollongong Station. The bus travels in both directions.
You can just hail the bus from any specially marked green Gong Shuttle bus stop, and hop right on.
The service operates between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday.
Every 10 minutes during peak (7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.) and every 20 minutes off-peak.
The weekend service will operate every 20 minutes between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m..
