Passenger Transport Regulation 2007

The new Passenger Transport Regulation 2007 was introduced on Saturday, 1 September 2007.

The new Regulation replaces the Passenger Transport (Bus Services) Regulation 2000, Passenger Transport (Taxi-cab Services) Regulation 2001, Passenger Transport (Private Hire Vehicle Services) Regulation 2001, Passenger Transport (Ferry Services) Regulation 2000 and the Passenger Transport (General) Regulation 2000.

In accordance with the requirements of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1989, public comment was sought on the draft of the new Regulation and an associated Regulatory Impact Statement. The period for comment closed on 1 August 2007.
