Launch of the Taxi KPI Application

The 2008 taxi network standards apply to all authorised taxi-cab network providers operating within the Sydney Metropolitan, Newcastle and Wollongong Transport Districts and the local Government Areas of Gosford and Wyong.

Pursuant to clause 182 of the Passenger Transport Regulation 2007, the Standards require performance reports on the following to be provided to NSW Transport and Infrastructure by the 14th of each month:

  1. Standard Taxi KPIs (13 KPIs)
  2. Wheelchair Accessible Taxis (WAT) KPIs (11 KPIs)
  3. WAT Performance Data Report (9 performance data)

The Taxi KPI Reporting Application has been created to enable taxi networks to submit KPI reports electronically to NSW Transport and Infrastructure, replacing the existing manual reporting of KPIs.

Taxi networks can submit, upload, update, view and compare their KPI performance against the taxi industry and generate reports of KPIs they have reported.

It is important to note that a taxi network's KPI reporting requirements have not changed, just the method of reporting.
