Jannali Station platform reconstruction

Project overview

Sydney Trains is rebuilding platform 2 at Jannali station by replacing the current post and panel retaining wall system with modern precast concrete units.

The platform will also be extended by 16 metres, to an overall length of 173 metres.

The work is being completed in stages during scheduled weekend rail possessions.


Key Benefits

The platform was built in the 1930s and has reached the end of its life, requiring a rebuild. 

The platform will also be extended and provide additional commuter space.

Project Status

Work on platform 2 at Jannali station is underway and is expected to be completed in June 2025*. 

Work will take place during scheduled track possession weekends. Please see the latest community notification for further information and upcoming impacts.
