Mount Colah Station footbridge renewal

Sydney Trains has identified the need to replace the existing footbridge across the rail corridor at Mount Colah, providing access to the Station, Pacific Highway and Pierre Close.

Work also includes the installation of three new lifts and stairs on the platform and eastern and western sides of the station.

Key Benefits

  • A new pedestrian footbridge and stairs at the northern end of the platform and three new lifts connecting Pacific Highway, Pierre Close and the station
  • Re-grading the platform including new tactile platform edge tiles
  • A new pedestrian crossing on Pierre Close
  • New landscaping and paving
  • A formalised Kiss and Ride zone at Pierre Close
  • A formalised Disabled car parking spot at Pierre Close
  • Additional closed circuit security system (CCTV) and lighting
  • A new Family Accessible Toilet (FAT).

The project is currently in construction and expected to be completed in 2025*.
