As part of the Sydney Metro City & Southwest project, rail upgrade work will take place between Sydenham and Bankstown from Saturday 13 April to Thursday 25 April 2024.

Have your say

During this time, buses will replace trains. Temporary parking changes are needed for 12 days between 2am Saturday 13 April and 2am Thursday 25 April 2024 to allow extra buses in the area to operate safely.

Transport invites the community to provide feedback on the proposed kerbside changes needed around the following train stations:

  • Bankstown
  • Belmore
  • Campsie
  • Dulwich Hill
  • Hurlstone Park
  • Lakemba
  • Lidcombe
  • Marrickville
  • Sydenham
  • Wiley Park

For more information, please email TTPComms@transport.nsw.gov.au

We want your feedback

Transport welcomes feedback from the community on the proposed temporary parking changes. We will consider all feedback before we make the changes.

Please send us your feedback by 5pm Tuesday 19 March 2024.

Email:  TTPComms@transport.nsw.gov.au
Phone:  1800 171 386

The temporary transport plan to support the rail line closure will be shared on transportnsw.info with the community once confirmed, to ensure passengers have plenty of time to plan ahead.

Transport for NSW is currently working through detailed service planning for the extended 2024 Temporary Transport Plan (TTP) and will consult with the community later this year about kerbside use changes for the extended 2024 TTP.
