Victoria Street Station Upgrade
Project overview
Victoria Street Station and the Victoria Street Commuter Car Park have been upgraded for people with disabilities, limited mobility, parents with prams, and tourists with luggage.
Key benefits
- Three new lifts, new canopies, refurbishment of the heritage platform building, and improvements to the interchange areas
- Sheltered bike racks, and new wayfinding signage
- Upgrades to lighting and CCTV surveillance.
Victoria Street Station Commuter Car Park
The Victoria Street Station Commuter Car Park was also upgraded to include:
- 64 refurbished commuter car parking spaces
- Two accessible parking spaces close to the station
- Four motorbike parking spaces
- A new taxi space within the commuter car park
- A pedestrian link from the car park to the station
- Improved lighting and new CCTV cameras to improve customer safety.
