Rail and Freight Transport in New South Wales

The Ministry of Transport is responsible for providing independent advice to the Minister on major rail and freight policy issues via the Rail and Freight Policy Division.

The division also provides a focal point for strategy in rail and freight transport policy development processes that affect multiple agencies, involve long term planning, or require negotiated cooperation with other levels of government.
