Following the NSW Premier's announcement about the formation of 13 NSW super departments, NSW Transport and Infrastructure has now been established, effective from 1 July 2009.

An Administrative Changes Order creating the 13 new super Departments within the NSW Public Sector has been made.

The Order provides for the legal establishment of the new super Departments and the transfer of staff and functions to these entities.

This Order is available online and may be downloaded from the Parliamentary Counsel's website: http://www.legislation.nsw.gov.au/maintop/epub.

Information contained on this website will be updated as NSW Transport and Infrastructure is established.

In the interim, in most cases 'NSW Transport and Infrastructure' can be substituted for 'Ministry of Transport", 'MoT' or 'The Ministry'.
