Tax Incentives for Public Transport Users

The report Tax Incentives for Public Transport Users (833 kb PDF) has been prepared by Ernst and Young for the NSW Ministry of Transport following agreement by the Australian Transport Council (comprising State/Territory and Commonwealth Ministers for Transport) that it was an issue warranting further consideration and analysis.

The report was submitted to the Council's October meeting where it was agreed that it should be referred to the Ministerial Council of Commonwealth - State Financial Relations for further consideration. Updates on actions or decisions arising from the report will be provided as and when available.
