Summary 2006 Census statistics by Local Government Area (LGA)
The latest Census data have been used to produce summary data for each Local Government Area and Statistical Division in NSW, including social demographic characteristics and employment figures. Click on the state map to access summary data for LGAs in that location.

2007 Household Travel Survey (HTS) Summary Report - 1 Mb PDF
The 2007 Household Travel Survey Summary Report (2009 Release) provides a compilation of statistics on the travel behaviour of residents of the Sydney Statistical Division from 1999 to 2008. The report includes the latest three year pooled data collected from June 2005 to June 2008.
Ferry Users in Sydney - 3.19 Mb PDF
This publication provides summary information on the operation and use of Sydney Ferries (SF) services. Information on travel patterns and the characteristics of Sydney residents who made ferry trips is based on the Transport Data Centre's Household Travel Survey and Journey to Work data sets for 2006. Operational and patronage information has been provided by SF.
Employment and Commuting in Sydney's Centres, 1996 - 2006 (December 2008 Transfigures) - 279 kb PDF
Using Census and Journey to Work data, this report looks at the changes in employment and commuting to the major centres in Sydney over the last three Census waves. Over 70,000 new jobs were created in Sydney SD between 2001 and 2006. Over a third of these new jobs were in the 33 centres featured in the report. Amongst the centres, the CBD had the highest growth, followed by Norwest Business Park and Macquarie Park.
