Research directories

Research resources, directories and databases

The Research Hub provides you with access to two key research directory resources.

Transport for New South Wales's (TfNSW) Research Hub directory

TfNSW’s directory consists of research activities that TfNSW staff has been involved with. This includes conference papers, literature surveys and various research reports and related documents.

The directory will expand to include the research outputs from the Strategic research directions program, and other research that TfNSW has commissioned or collaborated on.

Please note that the inclusion of documents in the directory should not be regarded as statements of official NSW Government or TfNSW polices or positions. The outputs of the research activities that have occurred are provided publicly for the purpose of knowledge sharing.

World Transit Research (WTR) site

While the Research Hub Directory is focused on TfNSW research activities, a comprehensive resource for what is occurring in transport research across the world is the World Transit Research (WTR) site.

This is a free repository of research papers, reports, research abstracts and links to research findings from leading research journals indexed and searchable to ensure easier access to topics of interest.

The site is developed and run by the Public Transport Research Group (PTRG) at the Institute of Transport Studies, Monash University. The site is designed to help public transport practitioners and researchers get easier access to quality research in the field of public transport planning.

To date WTR contains records of over 6,500 research papers. It is used by over 200,000 users from over 180 countries internationally.
