The Institute for Sustainable Futures conducts project-based applied research to support communities, governments and businesses to create change towards sustainable futures. TfNSW has an established relationship with the University of Technology Sydney, and supports a range of student projects within the Institute of Sustainable Futures, including final-year Capstone students, and Masters and PhD students. This collaborative relationship has allowed TfNSW to benefit from a range of student projects aimed at increasing the efficiency of public transport services.
