Changed traffic conditions on Croome Road at Albion Park
6 November 2018
Member for Kiama Gareth Ward MP has today advised local motorists of changed traffic conditions for the installation of a power pole adjacent to Croome Road in Albion Park.
Mr Ward said that this utility installation is required as part of preliminary works for the Albion Park Rail bypass.
“Work will be carried out this Wednesday 7th November 2018 for one day, weather permitting,” he said.
“Offline work will begin at 7am and finish at 5pm with the utility installation work commencing between 10am and 12pm to avoid peak traffic periods.
“During the power pole installation, traffic control will stop the flow of traffic in both directions for a maximum of five minutes and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place to ensure the safety of motorists and workers.
“Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
“I would like to also thank local motorists for their patience during this time,” Mr Ward concluded.
