Changed traffic conditions on the Sydney Harbour Bridge

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Tunnel, and their approaches this week for maintenance and Warringah Freeway upgrade works.

Up to four lanes on the Sydney Harbour Bridge will be closed for work to be carried out this week.

  • Friday 17 February – 10pm to 6am
  • Saturday 18 February – 11.30pm to 6am
  • Sunday 19 February – 10pm to 4.30am
  • Monday 20 February – 10pm to 4.30am
  • Tuesday 21 February – 10pm to 4.30am
  • Wednesday 22 February – 10pm to 4.30am
  • Thursday 23 February – 10.30pm to 4.30am

Mobile maintenance works will also be carried out in the Sydney Harbour Tunnel on Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 February between 9pm and 5am. However, only sections of the lanes will be closed to motorists under mobile works.

Other changes across the Sydney transport network

Commuters travelling in the city’s west and to the airport this weekend are advised to plan ahead as Sydney Trains carries out essential maintenance work on the network.

From 2am Saturday 18 February to 2am Monday 20 February, buses replace trains between Leppington and Glenfield on the T2 Inner West & Leppington and the T5 Cumberland lines. And on the T8 Airport & South line, buses replace trains between Glenfield, Sydenham and Central via the Airport.

Buses also replace trains between Emu Plains and Blacktown from 2am Saturday 18 February to 2am Monday 20 February, and between Blacktown and Bathurst on the Blue Mountains line.
