Have your say on rail options for West of Bankstown Stations in 2024


Transport for NSW is inviting customers to have their say on proposed rail options for T3 Bankstown Line stations west of Bankstown once Sydney Metro City & Southwest is introduced in 2024.

A Transport for NSW spokesperson said the new metro rail system means train services on the T3 Bankstown Line west of Bankstown will need to operate differently to ensure customers can continue to get where they need to go.

“While initial planning has identified a preferred option that we think provides the best outcomes for customers, we are keen to hear from the community about the proposed changes and options considered,” the spokesperson said.

“This will help us develop a broader public transport solution for customers, complementing the new Sydney Metro services available.”

T3 Bankstown Line stations west of Bankstown include those from Lidcombe to Bankstown and those from Liverpool to Bankstown.

Customers can view the potential rail service options and have their say by completing a short online survey at yoursay.transport.nsw.gov.au/west-of-bankstown

Feedback is invited until 5pm Monday 27 July.

Transport for NSW will be making customers aware of the online survey through a variety of ways including local newspaper advertising and via targeted social media channels and letter box drops.

About 150 items of customer feedback have been received since Transport for NSW released the proposed rail options earlier this year.

Customers can rest assured that this initial feedback will also be considered as part of the consultation process, before a final option is confirmed late this year.
