North Rocks Commuter Car Park

Project overview

Transport for NSW has delivered 135 new car parking spaces for commuters at North Rocks as part of the NSW Government’s Commuter Car Park Program.

This project provides more convenient access to public transport at this key interchange and will help to ease congestion on our roads. The new car park was built with sustainable features, including the provision for future electric vehicle charging spaces.

  • dedicated pathways connecting to the existing footpath on the corner of Barclay Road and Perry Street
  • lighting and wayfinding signage for improve safety

Finishing work

Customers may continue to see construction staff on site throughout October and November while minor finishing works takes place in the coming weeks.

Work will be carried out during standard construction hours, Monday to Friday between 7am and 6pm and will not impact the operation of the car park, adjacent properties or roads.

Transport Park&Ride infrastructure (Opal operated boom gates) within the North Rocks Commuter Car Park is targeted to be operational in 2023.
