Corporate Property Files

What is the process?

In order to meet our obligations under public health orders and minimise the risk of transmission of COVID-19, Transport has made a number of changes to continue to provide services to its customers.

Due to the nature of CMPA, file inspections have been suspended until further notice.

To ensure service continuity and minimise the impact to your business in this challenging period, we have developed an interim CMPA process that will be in place for the duration of the extended lockdown.

Please contact the CMPA Officer via email to cmpa@transport.nsw.gov.au for details.

To lodge a CMPA application, registration to the Maritime eLodgement portal is required.

Copyright

Access will not be provided to:

  • Personal information
  • Privileged information
  • Commercial in confidence information
  • Any person who is not the relevant property owner, leaseholder or their agent.

Applicants will be able to view all available files in respect to the nominated wetland properties and will be able to request copies of identified documents.

Informal release of information

This new process is classified under section 8 of the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA Act) as informal release of government information. The GIPA Act recognises that the release of government information promotes open, accountable and fair government.

This process allows Transport for NSW to provide information to customers without the need for a formal GIPA application. Information is usually only withheld from customers where there is an overriding public interest against disclosure.
