Alexandria to Moore Park Project

Reviewed

Project overview

Drive through animations of the proposed improvements to various intersections along the road corridor. The NSW Government is investigating intersection improvements, new pedestrian and cycle paths and new parking controls and clearways in the Alexandria, Waterloo and Moore Park areas. The investigations are part of the NSW Government's investment in keeping Sydney moving and improving road safety.

Transport for NSW has completed the Fountain Street/McEvoy Street intersection upgrade in Alexandria and has provided:

  • the installation of two through lanes (westbound)
  • a dedicated right turn bay into Fountain Street from McEvoy Street (westbound)
  • parking adjustments on Fountain Street
  • landscaping, utilities relocations and footpath restoration.

We thank you for your patience and cooperation during the intersection upgrade.
