Jan 2023 - Tender process begins for slope repairs
Transport for NSW has started a tender process to appoint a contractor who will help with repairs on Moss Vale Road at Cambewarra Mountain.
The contractors will complete work on three sites where minor landslips occurred during the severe weather events in 2022.
Emergency work made these sites safe at the time and the new work will make the slope resilient to future severe weather.
Once a contractor is appointed, a schedule will be set for the work.
Transport engineers are also completing a review of the designs received from specialist geotechnical consultants for repairs on the more severely damaged 1.5-kilometre section of road that remains under 24-hour traffic control.
A tender process for this work will start when the designs have been accepted.
