Project overview

The Casula Commuter Car Park, located east of Casula Station on Powerhouse Road, is complete and open to the public.

Transport for NSW in partnership with Liverpool City Council has upgraded the existing Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre car park to provide commuters with more convenient access to public transport.

The project is part of the NSW Government’s Commuter Car Park Program, providing you with more convenient access to public transport at key interchanges and helping to ease congestion on our roads.

Key benefits

  • an upgraded car park with approximately 65 spaces including accessible parking spaces
  • footpaths to connect to the station
  • lighting upgrade on Powerhouse Road
  • CCTV, lighting and wayfinding signage.

Liverpool City Council has provided a new visitor car park for the Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre (CPAC) with 76 spaces north of the centre.

Woodbrook Road underpass

Transport for NSW and Liverpool City Council have reopened the rail underpass at Woodbrook Road to traffic and pedestrians, providing better access to the commuter car park, Casula Station, Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre and Casula Parklands.

The Woodbrook Road underpass has a height restriction of 2.5 metres and is open for use from 6am to midnight each day.

Project status

Construction is complete on the new commuter car park at Casula Station and Woodbrook Road underpass.
