Background
Transport for NSW is investigating a range of features to make Mogo a safer, better connected and more appealing place for pedestrians and motorists.
In November 2020, Transport invited community feedback to understand their thoughts and ideas on pedestrian safety across the Highway in Mogo. Some recommendations included traffic lights at local intersections, a pedestrian crossing, more parking on the highway, more parking off the highway, improved access to parking off the highway, improved signage and improved pedestrian and shared paths.
Transport is now displaying a range of potential options for community feedback. These have been identified following recommendations by the community and Council in earlier consultations. Transport will carry out more investigations, feasibility studies and design work before confirming the preferred improvement options.
