Victoria Road bus lane extensions
Project overview
Future Transport’s Strategy is to improve public transport options, encourage more people onto public transport and help us better connect to the Country we live on.
Transport for NSW is taking key steps to improve bus services along Victoria Road, through the Bus Priority Infrastructure Program. These enhancements will help to improve the efficiency of bus services by increasing frequency and providing additional dedicated bus lanes.

Features
Transport has developed a continuous bus lane on Victoria Road city bound between Huntleys Point and Westbourne Street. The new bus lane operates from 6am to 7pm Monday to Friday. Buses, taxis, hire cars, bicycles, emergency vehicles and motorcycles are permitted to travel in a bus lane. Vehicles are permitted to enter a bus lane if they are within 100 metres of undertaking a turn.
