Warnervale Link Road

Reviewed

Project overview

Transport for NSW is investigating the feasibility of providing a link road between Wyong and Warnervale.

The Central Coast Regional Plan 2036 identifies Warnervale as a regional growth centre. It is anticipated there will be about 75,500 additional people living in the area by 2036, as well as new employment lands being provided.

The link road, if constructed, would provide the community with improved connectivity and traffic benefits as the population of the area continues to grow.

Dec 2019 - Update on planning

Transport for NSW sought community feedback on a draft strategic design in 2017.

The next stage will be preparing a concept design based on previous feedback.

All feedback received to date will be considered as planning progresses.

As the design continues to be developed, the community will have another opportunity to comment when the Review of Environmental Factors (REF) and concept design is publically displayed for community comment.

Currently there is no timeframe for when these documents will be on display.

We will continue to keep the community updated as the project progresses.
