TAP focuses on improving accessibility at stations to people with a disability, limited mobility and parents and carers with prams. Modern buildings and facilities include new commuter car parks and accessible toilets and meet the needs of a growing population.

New interchanges support an integrated public transport network that allow seamless transfers between all modes for all customers.

The NSW government is also progressively upgrading ferry wharves across Sydney to improve ferry services for customers.
