Suite of Tendering and Contracting Templates
A new Suite of Tendering and Contracting Templates have been developed for use by Strategic Procurement to approach the market to acquire works, activities, goods and/or services for Sydney Trains.
The Suite of Tendering and Contracting Templates allow Contractors to familiarise themselves with Sydney Trains requirements. The Suite of Tendering and Contracting Templates have been developed to:
- standardise, streamline and drive greater efficiencies in the Sydney Trains procurement process
- align with contractor feedback and broader market expectations while at the same time satisfying Sydney Trains and broader NSW Government contracting and procurement requirements.
From 1 December 2016, Sydney Trains will no longer be inviting contractors to propose contractual non-conformances when undertaking routine procurement activities using its Standard Contract Templates. It will, however, be open for Contractors to submit an alternative proposal in addition to a conforming tender in accordance with the conditions of tendering. Naturally, all commercial variables, as indicated in the contract templates, will remain negotiable in accordance with the condition of tendering.
