July 2017 - CIPS Australasia Supply Management Awards

CIPS Australasia Supply Management AwardRespected as a benchmark for excellence, a CIPS Australasia Supply Management Award is a prestigious recognition for any company or individual in the procurement profession. The NSW Trains Procurement Team were delighted to accept an award last week for Most Improved Procurement Operation, celebrating their work over the last three years to align the procurement strategy with the overall business strategy.

The judges were impressed with how their work had lifted the procurement function from a transactional team to a strategic business partner that could work collaboratively with the business to respond to customer needs.

Head of Procurement, Siju Johny, said: “This is something we can be very proud of and it will encourage us to work even harder as we move forward into the exciting future of NSW TrainLink.”
