Become a TAO
Recognition as a TAO is gained following an evidence based assessment which, if successful, results in an entity achieving the status of a Technically Assured Organisation (TAO).
The assessment:
• evaluates the systems and processes that support the engineering and asset services that an entity is seeking to deliver
• covers the evaluation of evidence and relevant experience in the provision of self-assured engineering and asset services
The TAO assessment consists of five steps:
1. initial engagement
2. scoping and self-assessment
3. authorisation assessment
4. follow-on assessment site visits (optional)
5. assessment finalisation
