Charlotte Wood
Charlotte is the Director of Policy, Awareness and Research for Cyber Security NSW. Since her commencement in 2018, her work each day has focused on ensuring the cyber security of NSW. She is responsible for delivering programs that aim to increase cyber security preparedness, prevent incidents from happening, reduce their impact and spread when they do occur, as well as uplifting cyber security culture across NSW Government.
Prior to working for Cyber Security NSW, Charlotte was a Commonwealth public servant for 14 years working with the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC). Her final role at the ACIC was Manager of Cybercrime Intelligence.
Charlotte completed a Churchill fellowship in 2022, conducting research internationally on innovative ways to drive cyber security awareness. She completed an Executive Master in Public Administration in 2022. She has previous academic qualifications in leadership, accounting, and community education and development.
