Humanitarian Cadet roles are available in and around metropolitan Sydney.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply, the applicant must be a recent refugee who arrived in Australia after 2015 and holds a Refugee and Humanitarian Visa. Newly-arrived refugees are eligible to obtain paid Australian work experience in areas relevant to their existing qualifications and skills. We’re looking for people who want to make a difference and are interested in what we do at Transport for NSW.

Work conditions

Humanitarian Cadets work Monday to Friday for a minimum of 35 hours per week. Humanitarian Cadets receive an annual salary at Transport Grade 1a.

Humanitarian Cadets can apply for internally advertised roles and may be eligible to apply to any of our other entry level talent programs.
