Traffic Information Privacy Statement
Transport for NSW (TfNSW) is subject to the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 (NSW) in respect of your personal information.
TfNSW is collecting your personal information, such as your name, email, address, company name, contact details and payment information for the purposes of processing orders via the Traffic Signal Portal www.transport.nsw.gov.au/trafficsignal and delivering a range of intelligent traffic control services and reports to you.
We generally collect this information directly from you when an order is placed via the Traffic Signal Portal. The provision of such information is voluntary, however if you do not provide it we may not be able to process your orders or provide our services to you. TfNSW may disclose your personal information to external parties such as its financial services provider for the purposes of processing the payment for your application. We may also need to disclose your personal information to other third parties to comply with legislation or court or tribunal orders.
Users of the Traffic Signal Portal are entitled to expect that any information collected as a result of that use will be treated within the terms of the New South Wales Government's privacy responsibilities and obligations. The NSW Government's privacy practices are regulated by the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 (NSW).
