reVITALise — Public Transport Precinct Vibrancy Grant

The reVITALise – Public Transport Precinct Vibrancy Grant is a $7 million partnership program with 7 pilot councils across NSW.

The Program will enliven people’s everyday walk or wheel to and from public transport by embedding vibrancy, amenity and creativity along the first and last mile.

The $7 million program will provide funding to seven partner councils across NSW to deliver placemaking initiatives within a 500-metre radius of transport hub precincts. The Program will reinvigorate transport hub precincts with public domain upgrades, creative interventions and activations that create a safer and more vibrant environment, encouraging mode shift to public and active transport options.

Through the delivery of place-based improvements the Program will support the development of more vibrant, activated transport hub precincts and contribute to more accessible, safe, enjoyable journeys and a more walkable and vibrant NSW.

The Program aims to:

  • Create safer, more welcoming and vibrant transport hub precincts.
  • Ensure seamless connectivity for first and last-mile journeys.
  • Activate public transport hub precincts.

The reVITALise – Public Transport Precinct Vibrancy Grant supports the NSW Government’s key policy priorities of a vibrant NSW that provides well-connected communities with quality environments.
